Out of all the gospel writers it is Mark who has the simplest explanation of what we call the great commission, and it’s this: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15)

Throughout history the world has been changed through preaching. Not just instruction. Not just discussion. Not just exhortation. Not some dry, meaningless words that are either difficult to understand,  irrelevant, or both. The faith-filled, spirit-annointed, declaration of the timeless truths of the gospel; preached in a way that can not only be understood, but connects with something deep inside people’s hearts and souls and brings life transformation.

I don’t claim to be an expert, but here is some of my personal preaching. For more – and to find other messages from different preachers, check out our church download browser

Just one step: So many dreams, so many decisions. How on earth do we find God’s plans for our lives and what does that mean for me in my life anyway?

The heart of the matter: What kind of people is God looking for, and who does he choose to use? At the heart of the matter is the matter of the heart.

It never fails: You can do all sorts of seemingly Godly things but there is only one thing that never fails. What is it, and what does it look like?

When it seems too hard: All of us get to a point in life when it just seems too hard. What do we do when we’re tempted to shrink back?

You will be my witnesses: The numbers that mattered to Jesus where lost people and labourers.  How can we be labourers who reach the lost?
